I only ask that you please don’t stereotype me until you have heard a little about my past, my present, and my future. I promise I won’t bore you. If I do, just tell me to shut up. I dropped out of high school to join the Army. I served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the 10th Special Forces, better known as the Green Berets. With the rank of Sgt., I joined the Houston, Texas Police Force upon discharge. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in BMT, and a minor in criminal justice. Even with all the death and violence I had seen in Vietnam, I was not prepared for the madness of prison. Now, I will never be released. I am going to die in prison alone and afraid.
